Sevillians like to leave out their "s" when they talk, so the words sound a bit different
- Pedestrians have the right-of-way most all the time. Jay-walking is a popular habit over here. Traffic signs are relative.
- NEVER forget to turn out the light/fan when you leave a room, or they will let you know!
- "Dos besitos" or two kisses for greetings
- When older women (50+) are walking together, they stroll arm in arm
- Dogs on leashes are under the full authority of their owners; we often see dogs being dragged by their harnesses in protest
- If a girl is looking particularly beautiful someday, the men will let her know verbally (I don't think it's so quirky ;)
- Cockroaches fly here
- Snails are a delicacy
- Whole neighborhoods throw fiestas!
- Some women need to lay off on the blue eyeshadow
- "Chinos" or Chinese people speak Spanish with Chinese accents
- There are creepers in the park
- If you get lost, everyone around you joins in to help (speaking from experience)
- Our "dressed-up" is their "casual"
- Shot-gun showers
- Every building is 3+ times as old as those in America
- They know how to dance and eat!
